>>81633836I was about to do some green text with Hololive lacking in game content when they have a GAMERS groups, but that only really holds true for Korone and to a lesser extent, Okayu.
Korone is someone who will play some modern slop, but she'll actually go out of her way to play retro stuff on the PS1 and really old games like Wizardry and Splatterhouse. Not all of them are winners, but I believe her gamer moniker when she's playing JP exclusive NES shit I never heard of, and she is a Sonic ambassador after all.
Okayu used to do some fun quick games on the Switch market, but I did notice she leaned more into long term content with Dragon Quest and Yakuza about a year ago. It really stuck out to me when she was autistically focused on Factorio for a month. So she has the dedication, but faltered more on the variety.
Mio, I love her, but games are not the first thing that comes to mind for her, some days, it's not even the first three things I tie her with.
Foobs seems like she tried to get back into it, but I've seen her either do horror streamer bait games or doing group stuff with Watame and/or Polka. But she seems to have gotten out of the phase of speedrunning Getting Over It and Undertale, I'm glad for that at least.
Maybe I'm being silly by attempting this "Hey, at least some game content is good with two or three of these girls" argument, which doesn't ultimately matter in a company with 50+ talents. But I think you saying "They're not gamers at all" is exaggerating.
Also, people forget her, I don't entirely blame them, but Luna can play cool retro shit too, even if she's in focus mode 90% of the time and nanora the rest. Not for everyone, but she be out there.
