We look to men to have skill, western women want attractiveness. The fujo market isn't really there for male vtubers. What you'd be looking for as a male vtuber is to incorporate a strong gimmick. "I want to be a monster husbando" or something, but you have to understand you're masking yourself for the sake of a niche audience.
Pewdiepie got big being a "big bro" streamer, without a mask. That's an easy position for western streamers to take, and most people in the west aren't looking for that from a cartoon character.
