>>81775215>>81775305another thing to keep in mind than when DS1 released, it was still kind of a niche title and being incredibly convoluted on top of that made people really fuck up their chargen, level up whatever they felt like it at the time, stick to the Drake Sword half of the game, not knowing where to get upgrade mats, spending them on new weapons not knowing it might lock you out from some upgrade paths, testing out all the shit boss weapons etc.
now it's like "oh, just get Vit/End to 30 asap, maybe your main attacking stat too unless you just go lightning/chaos, then just ignore that after hitting weapon reqs
oh, and if you get a black knight drop just level for that, farm clams in Ash lake for Twinkling and just win 4 hour in the game"
