>>81831220>a skilled entertainer could take it as a job and keep up an entertaining show regardlessThis is something to consider when you do remember just how long FWMC have been doing this, IRL and past lives and everything in-between.
My favorite example is Mythbusters, how Jamie and Adam worked so well together to put a fun show exploring scenarios of what was possibile. Jamie might have been a bit of a hardass and Adam a sperg, but they knew what made for good TV. Once Mythbusters ran its final season, Adam talked about how in the 25 years they knew each other, they never went out to a restaurant to enjoy a business dinner. There's other stories but they agreed once the show was over, they didn't want to work together again and did entrepreneur investments or a show on YouTube. There's speculation Adam was jealous of how smart Jamie was, but they knew the most important thing: what is it that viewers want to watch? And that was the biggest priority, and it worked with how long that show ran.
There's a smaller example with an act like Penn and Teller, they work together to spitball ideas and make content for their TV show or Vegas show, but once the cameras off, they go do something else.
Not to say FWMC are exactly like that, they love being with Advent for all those collabs and enjoy interacting JP branch. But they do have idol goals and are certainly professionals not only for how long they've been in this journey, but how dedicated they are with these characters. The kayfabe was so strong, people loved the fresh air Advent gave, with FWMC bringing back energy that people were reminded of 2020 era Hololive (minus the COVID craziness).
Some say maybe too much when other Holo girls say they act the same way off stream, but if you know twins, hell, if you know really close siblings, that's not entirely unusual. When it comes to games, them talking about that N64 story is a pretty cute one, and how Mama Puppy would have save game files they'd like to mess with. Are they still appreciative of those games now? You wouldn't think that following the Japan move, but they definitely did those first 5-6 months.
I agree with what another said here earlier, I don't mind them having goals, they know how to make 90% of what they do entertaining which is important for streams. I just want to get on them to properly curate their audience and set proper expectations, because them being people pleasers for everyone creates mixed messages that I can't truly know what they want. The sooner they do that, the easier it'll be for them in the long run.
