Here is better Twitter Summary of the Anycolor Share holder meeting.
https://twitter.com/michsuzu/status/1818181921773629596•Q5 Regarding the graduation of live streamers. Chihiro Yuki and Utako Suzuka, both from the Ichikara era, graduated this year, and Aki Suzuya also announced her graduation. I think the people who graduated were people you interviewed directly, so I would like to hear your thoughts on them.
Riku: I won't go into the individual stories, but I think each of them had their own reasons for graduating. They may have wanted to do something other than being a VTuber, or they may have found it difficult to follow the compliance and rules of our company as a VTuber. We believe that it is necessary to support VTubers who are active in the medium to long term, so although there may be some restrictions for live streamers, it is also necessary to maintain compliance. Rather than focusing on these things, we would like to create a system that will prevent students from graduating or having their contracts terminated by improving the support system.
•Q7 You plan to achieve sales of 60 billion yen in the fiscal year ending April 2027. Currently, sales by business are biased toward commerce (goods). I believe the live streaming area is the core of your business, but what do you envision as the composition ratio in 2027?
Riku: We haven't disclosed any specific details, but considering that the commerce sector makes up the majority of the animation market, which is a similar industry, I don't think it's unnatural for VTubers to have a similar ratio. It is quite possible that the commerce sector will continue to drive growth in the medium to long term, and we would like to ensure steady growth in other sectors as well.
•Q10 Regarding expansion into Greater China. The VTuber business relies on YouTube, but in Greater China, it will be expanded using other media such as bilibili. There are also anti-espionage laws, geopolitical risks, and the risk of a backlash, so what are your thoughts on expansion into Greater China?
Riku: This isn't limited to the Chinese-speaking world, but I believe there are certainly cultures overseas that are different from Japan. In that sense, I think it is necessary to take into consideration the culture of each country and region, not just the Chinese region, and to build compliance. In that regard, we will work on the Chinese region as one of the most important regions.
•Q13 UUUM, a YouTuber agency, was doing well when YouTube was booming, but when the transitional period began, it went into the red and its stock price fell. I think of your company as the VTuber version of UUUM. What are your thoughts on how to avoid going down the same path?
Riku: VTuber agencies are a little different from YouTuber agencies. YouTuber agencies tend to focus on management, while VTuber agencies tend to provide full support for content production. Of course, the talents still have their regular live streams and activities, but the main focus is on content production across the agency as a whole, so in that sense, I think it's an area where we can more easily respond to trends and customer needs than a YouTuber agency. In that sense, we are a little different from the talent and YouTuber industries, and I would like you to see us as a company that creates content.
