>>81844299>Mumei shares the same timeslot as IRyS and Kronii. This isn't some advantage Mumei has and Kronii doesn't.no, Mumei usually starts a bit later and the girls appear to be more eager to raid her (or IRyS) over Kronii in general, for whatever reason, so it ends up working to Mumei's advantage more than Kronii's
and if you remark that maybe the homocollabs made the branch distance itself from Kronii, I could promptly remind that both Bae and Mori get about the same amount of raids as Mumei
>Her recent games were OW2 and Doom, all of them did better than majority of Kronii's streams. It's true that her gaming streams don't do as well as her karaoke, relatively, but she is still way ahead of Kronii's.bringing up OW2 is already pretty dishonest as far as solo content comparisons go when they were attended by Gura or Justice, meanwhile DOOM streams were fairly consistently raided (aside from some that were also botted earlier on)
>Kronii has been singing once a month for months. That's roughly the same as IRyS and Mumei who usually do 1-2 karaoke streams a monthI admit, the recent regularity escaped me, but it appears it is a development from this year more or less, and even more so of recent months (since around the outfit reveal), but her brand is in no comparable degree as strongly associated with karaoke as these two
>For example, a quick look at Kronii's streams in June 2022 showed a bunch of kusoge with one exception of the Animal Party collab - that didn't stop that month from having notably higher average than Kronii's 2024 YTD averageand I'm saying that the continued insistence on unpopular game choices is in fact what keeps the numbers dropping - less popular streams > less entrances into the algorithm > less popular streams, it's a self-enforcing mechanism, once you start going down it's only harder to go up and vice versa (which is why once Fauna got into the algorithm through her consistency, even when Japan arcs made her a bit less consistent, her channel only grew stronger)
>Claiming that homo collabing didn't cause her downfall is just incorrectI think claiming that when her viewership was already dropping is in fact being either ignorantly or maliciously incorrect. As I mentioned, the thing that's more strongly associated with the controversy is the merch sales drops, because those things are enjoyed by people most strongly affected by controversy - gachis and consooming casuals
the tl;dr of all this is that streamers are generally not that affected by their choices in collabs, even in Holo - you live and die by your solo content by the end of the day
