They sell an image that's unrealistic to an audience, relying on manipulation of emotions and feelings only for the fault to be blamed on the fans attracted by that singular person. What makes a single person have less accountability for their actions as opposed to numerous people that also have different lives, perspectives and opinions themselves. I mean people often times try to humanize the content creator but what about the audience and viewers are they not humans too? Often times people just treat fans like an amorphous blob where often times the fault of one is the fault of all.
