https://www.anycolor.co.jp/ir/securitiesSo this page in Anycolor has been updated today to release the newest securities report. This is released annually and the previous ones can be found in their IR page as well. You can read and examine the newest document on your own by translating the document, but the topic I want to talk about is the revenue by region, covered in pages 92 and 93. I don't think anyone has ever talked about this in the past because the past reports also have this data, but basically these pages show how much of their sales come from Japan (日本 in this document), the US (米国), Asia (アジア, countries unspecified) and Other (その他, likely covering the rest of the world). This is different from sales by branch (Nijisanji JP, EN, and others) because with this we can actually know how much each region is contributing in sales.
Here are the numbers (in billions of yen, rounded off to 2 decimal places):
Last fiscal year (May 2022 - April 2023)
Japan 19.08, US 5.46, Asia 0.80, Other 0.003, Total 25.34
This fiscal year (May 2023 - April 2024)
Japan 25.49, US 5.26, Asia 1.24, Other 0.002, Total 32.00
So more cash flowing in from Japan and Asia, good for Anycolor. On the other hand, US and Other have decreased.
What's unexpected is that the US is contributing a lot in sales, significantly more than Asia (which should include China). With the EN boys having made a lot of money from the Chinese at their peak, unless the Chinese are actually paying in dollars, the numbers from Asia are surprisingly low.
