I’m glad you love my redesign as much as I do.
I've been away, and only caught a part
Of what's been said about my artist and me.
Since others won’t post DMs, I will now.
Apologies if this seems inconsiderate,
But I must clear the air from all the hate.
Hate not, I say, at me or anyone.
The DMs shared are mine, with Cheri's too,
Our chats with Powdur, and during my design,
With parts cut out for privacy and friends.
Last year, Powdur contacted us in turn,
We tried to reason, to explain our lore.
Her response was disbelief, and then,
She blocked us after it was “settled,” done.
Powdur had messaged Cheri first, not me.
Cheri explained, but left on read she stayed.
Three months, then Cheri reached out once again,
Offering changes, Powdur declined.
She did not want to see our progress more.
Despite my efforts, she believed me not.
I stood my ground; I loved my new design,
And Cheri’s work was precious, too divine.
Though saddened by the posts that came our way,
With comments that defamed us both in part,
I seek no quarrel, just to make amends,
But from her followers, I feel a rift.
I hope you see the reasons for my lore,
I wished to be a demon elf, it’s true.
The spelling “daemon” comes from history,
Not knowing that it’s used in tech today.
Though similar our designs might seem to you,
Our spirits, styles, and hearts are quite unique.
If you must choose a side, then do what's right,
But all I want is streaming joy in sight.
I cherish all my friends, my Vtubing crew.
So grateful for the love and bonds we’ve made.
