Depends on the corp I guess but I know we have contingencies here. Me and the other voice actors have been training for months (years for the old guard) to mimic our designated chuba. Vocabulary, voice patterns, background info, etc. Our graduations are a bit different. You see, our training is complete when we successfully navigate our first replacement stream. The chubas who take breaks often simply don't have replacements trained yet. Only one of us has "gone full time" so far. It was kinda awkward too since the original quit suddenly before the replacement was trained, causing a long hiatus but so far nobody has noticed the difference. I'm like, 96% confident in my impression for when the time comes. (pic unrelated)
