Since then, many wars have taken place between Israel and the neighboring Muslim nations with Israel generally winning and gaining territory over time and also becoming more militaristic and becoming more oppressive towards Palestinians out of a need for security.
As a result of all this Muslims generally hate Israel due to the history of violence towards the Palestinians and historical antisemitism. Antisemites generally hate Israel for being Jewish, although there are some complications to this due to Israel playing into some end times prophesies in Christianity. Left leaning college students hate it because they see its creation as European colonialism and see Palestinians as being oppressed by Israel.
