Streamers are paid based on these processed metrics, not on the live CCV we get (several streamers have pointed out how their live CCV suddenly dropped by 20%-30% compared to their processed CCV, for example). Similarly, companies / organizations present processed data to investors or advertisers.
All in all, unless 3rd parties like Streamcharts or StreamHatchet are way more important than I thought (which I doubt), YT live CCV fuck up sucks, but ultimately doesn't matter as much to streamers' bottom lines (the fact that it's only 20-30% instead of 70%-80% like what happened during CCVID helps too). I wouldn't be surprised if streamers just complain about it, but don't think it's a big enough deal to raise a ruckuss over.
