As already stated, that's not what that word means.
Also, in many cases, the lore is just not necessarily conducive to good content in the first place. Eg. Justice and Advent antagonizing each other is a bad idea. HoloX actively antagonizing the audience and everyone else is a bad idea. If everyone stuck to their lore, it's not like it would automatically make the product better.
