I was there for his Celeste streams in 2022, watched the Luxiem Propnight collab where Eki was officially born, him inspiring Muryoku-P to compose music again (a vocaloid producer who stopped years ago until Ike covered Aspirin AND then later having MuryokuP compose his orisong MAZE), hell I was there for the premiere of his first cover "Chronos", down to his membership music breakdowns. Him liking OreImo and preferring the sister as the love interest, the toilet story in the JP zatsudan. I've switched to holo ever since and while I don't feel the same amount of love that I had like in 2022 for Ike, it's way better than seeing constant drama and the person he's become now.
This essaypost probably doesn't even mean anything if you've never taken the time to get to know him through his streams but it's been nothing short of utter disappointment as someone who watched him regularly. I guess it's nice he got to have Miku in his 3D live, god knows I know that he wouldn't have dreamed of this being possible since the debut-era so good on him on that part. It still doesn't erase my disappointment from the black stream and recent behavior towards his fanbase. He's changed, and not for the better.
