>>82011693It was basically one guy with too much money and Israel's backing starting a vtuber corp on passion alone. First he picked up 5 girls around Tel-Aviv and told them to stream, it didn't really work very well. Then he scouted two unique indies and auditioned 3 more and opened an EN branch, promising talent is always first and paying for everything they want, and it actually worked out really well for a while - his co-founder even managed to rope the popular youtube singer Ky0resu into the corp. Soon later a second EN gen happened with two more great scouts and more decent audition picks, but then ky0resu got too horny and did THAT stream that got leaked all over /vt/, his co-founder (and apparently the only person who knew how to run a vtuber corp) got fired, and everything slowly crumbled until he ran out of money (likely thanks to the war) until he had to sell the corp in order to not throw everything away.
Or maybe he just wanted to sell the corp for quick cash from the start. Who knows. You pick what you want.
