The OG Lazusydia fans and the newcomer LuxNoc fans absolutely grew to hate each other around the time of Lazulight's first year anniversary. LL (Pomu) basically had to do everything themselves, meanwhile Luxiem had PuchiLuxiem shorts, Luxiem "Half Year" merchandise, and a whole song produced FOR them. So fanbase unity was dead by that point, and then there was the issue of members either graduating starting with Yugo, or being terminated starting with Zaion, effectively shattering the "happy family" image the branch built up over two years.
The real killing blow though is the fact that ever since Ethyria and Luxiem entered the picture, the branch would go on to find itself consistently embroiled in drama. It got far worse with Noctyx and ILUNA, culminating in shitshows like Feb 2023 to March 2023, where they were genuinely unable to go one week without getting into trouble. That obviously weighs on you as a fan and after a certain point, you just begin to tune out and move on. Selen's termination just accelerated the inevitable for NijiEN.
