Donothons in general. The earlier donothons especially had goals that were frankly fucking retarded and were decided with no consideration on the actual execution (shit like games and a fucking children's book and merch), which became an overbearing burden on resources. They also made it where retards like Yuko and Pochi couldn't be just cut loose before they caused much bigger problems, because he couldn't keep refunding tens of thousands of dollars.
The usual small corpo talent manager hiring quagmire.
Overall incompetence when it came to stuff like tard wrangling the menheras and following through on most of his ideas. Merch never happening until Brave stepped in, stuff like mass hiring editors or devs for fancy Minecraft stream plug-ins that was quietly buried after a month, 3D that never materialized beyond a brief appearance of horrible chibi models even after he sent new VR headsets and trackers to every girl, the whole clipper program, etc.. Some of it was clearly just him saying cool ideas out loud, but a lot of it seemed like he was stretched thin, because I'm pretty sure it was just him doing all of this high level shit (the only other high level manager couldn't even send letters). Debuting three gens in quick succession certainly didn't help towards the end.
Money. He sucked at handling it even when he had it, but something sudden pretty clearly happened that fucked what he had. I'd assume he was just lying about it somehow, but man, I have no fucking idea why he'd publicly jerk off about giving every girl a $1500 budget IMMEDIATELY before having to can that.
>>82094831The advertising worked though, EN1 instantly catapulted to mid 3view territory from debut, and evidently it works as he basically taught v4m to do the same shit for their last debuts, which went a lot better than their previous. It was absolutely throwing money around, yeah, but that's what it takes short of a viral miracle for a new corpo at this point.
Sadly donothons have also become a mainstay.
