Normal people aren't big on entertainers, they're not Swifties, they don't rabidly follow Hollywood except insofar as they watch the movies, they have a deep-seated understanding that people who whore themselves out for the entertainment of others, be it on a screen, on youtube, twitch, or another service, are some of the least trustworthy people around and also some of the most eccentric. Its been understood since Roman times that entertainers belong in a station below that of people who work for a living, and that has never changed. Seriously, ask a few normies what they think about VTubers. You'll see that a lot of people place it on the same level as OnlyFans or selling your soul to Epstein for a place in Hollywood. Its considered distasteful behavior when you're not personally getting anything out of it.
