Her singing proves she has a melodic tone and I'm 100% sure she can access it without straining
Why does she intentionally put on the weird voice? Does she think its funny? (I used to think Mori did this but it turned out that was her natural speech)

I meant the calls from the viewers themselves. There were calls way back when for more VAs as 'tubers on the logic that a voice acting expert would be perfect for this kind of job, but it was always not gonna work because a vtuber's appeal is in them 'becoming' the character and not playing them
