So from everything that the magnifag said I'm willing to be absolutely certain on my judgement for what happened that caused the graduation:
>EN was EXPLICITLY meant to be treated as mixed for Holostars and Hololive under Omega
>it DID NOT WORK OUT (likely Cover started realizing this was a bad plan once they had to step in for the Kronii thing and saw it had gotten out of hand)
>around that time, Omega started getting sacked out of the top position and they looked for a new manager for EN (this would be when YAGOO was personally sitting in on EN meetings, as was said to have happened)
>They either found Jap in-house and promoted him above Omega, or hired from out of the company
>Corpo went ahead with Tempus 2 as it was already baked in (probably around this time is when Gorimane becomes the head of the StarsEN branch and the management duties are split between her and Jap)
>Advent is picked up and trained probably around March or so, given what we know about the time between channel creation and debuts, then get trained and debuted in the end of July
>During contract renewal, Magni and Vesper were completely demoralized and had bought into the "mixed group" idea for Holostars, and so decided to quit (Gorimane and probably YAGOO didn't want to let them go right away because they knew that it would cause severe damage to the Holostars EN brand, if not all of Holostars, for the two most popular names under the brand to quit, so they had a month to try and sweet talk them into it, the hiatus, but because the management had already permanently changed, they were unwilling to stick around and quit near the end of August formally)
