>>82338010I think, if she gets far enough, she'll really enjoy Farnese character. The actual arc that she goes through I think is very powerful, and it's probably one of the best in Berserk even though it's technically not complete. She'll also probably enjoy Rickert a lot as well, but we sadly get so little of him in the story.
Not that I expect a lot, even though the Post-Miura chapters have been good, but I really hope we get a lot more of Rickert and Guts interactions in the future. While Ricky didn't personally witness the eclipse, he did see Guts go through a lot in those years leading up. He's probably the only person besides a fully restored Casca who could remind him of who he is as well.
>>82338602Schierke can be a little annoying to certain personality types. I've gotten about a dozen people to read Berserk over the years and a few have definitely been divisive on Schierke. At least up until the boat arc. The boat, and especially the boss fight at the end, really do a lot to make Schierke feel like one of the party.
The only character I've not been sold on up to this point is Isidro. Little man isn't bad by any means, but if he left the party and decided to try to go it on his own, I wouldn't be devastated. Even Serpico I care more for now.
Any Oji-beats out there reading Berserk for as long as I have? I started back in '04 and caught up just in time for the releases to hit a glacial pace. I've never once regretted it though.
