what I'm mostly getting is that the company wants to scale the entire business up an entire notch or two and that requires a different mindset than what we currently have.
some talents may adopt and like it because it also means they get bigger opportunities, and others just drop out entirely because theyre bound to the same regulations.
I can see why talents like suisei or marine, pekora, or calli, gura are okay with these changes while less "successful" and less trending talents may feel neglected.
I'm expecting a lot more hololive numberfagging and not giving every talent a fair approach, which may lead to dead gens like we see in EN1 and EN2 or even graduations

Thing is, the decision makers i.e. Investors don't care about the talents well being or satisfaction, they care about profits. To them it matters little if the company crumbles to a shadow of its former self via talents leaving in a few years due to their decisions if in the meantime they manage to get a return on investment by "doing things right" aka keeping everything safe and sterile, streaming singing dancing and selling concerts. And to them, this is the best route. They get money and lots of it with absolutely no risk, and when things are not so profitable anymore, they pull out and go find a new target. It's sad, but I think this is what we are slowly witnessing here

Retards. Cover owns Suisei's current 2d and 3d models, as well as the rights to her likeness/name to sell merchandise. Suisei still owns the name "Hoshimachi Suisei" and her original likeness/model before going to Hololive proper. The only thing up in the air is who would keep the channel if she ever left. But she could very well leave one day and still be a blue haired vtuber named Hoshimachi Suisei with zero issues.
