>>82402661I feel like that anon isn't completely wrong, stream content is a main focus...if you only look at their first year.
That's the time you do have to make an impression on your audience, that's how you got FWMC doing their 100 days of streaming in a row, Nerissa having a consistent schedule until she only had time for zatsus and being menhera during this current Japan arc, Justice having 6 days of streaming and people questioning how ERB is going to last if she has no streams for half a week during her DEBUT month. Council had the cringe lore shit where they were stuck doing games related to their theme, but eventually they broke out of that.
But streaming is designed to get yourself out there, and as much as I'd like more CGDCT streams, even though I'm glad some talents like Korone will have time to stream NES JP shit I never heard of, but that's never been the moneymaker for them. Any chart you've seen, streaming is third, sometimes even fourth in what makes talent money, and what's first and second? Events and merchandise. Those events include concerts and conventions and such.
I want more streams, but I'm also a realist that likes to ensure the talents I watch are set financially. I'd like Suisei to stream more Tetris, but her focus was always on idols, Marine does fun collabs but she gets insane money to fund the animated MVs she puts out, Shiori said she's glad to not worry about money anymore, and GG joked around waiting for Cover to send her a check so she can not be a poorfag. There are more examples, but I'll leave it there.
TL;DR you're right in holos do stream more during downtime, but that anon also needs to watch talents beyond their first year to know they have goals beyond being fun streamers.
