>pop stars like SwiftOh, you might be actually fucking retarded... or just baiting, and I hope it's the latter.
Music stars are anything but free, especially if you wanna talk about people like Taylor Swift, which are industry plants propped up by family connections.
Come the fuck on. Your point isn't even bad, you're just incompetent.
Back to the main point.
Creative freedom is a buzzword for people who clearly don't understand what they're talking about, but want to try to sound knowledgeable.
Do I think Hololive limits the content of their talents? Yes, 100%, they're are a company with vision, and they want to push that with a certain type of content, because people clearly want to buy that content and Hololive is a company that wants to make money.
Is that a good thing? Who knows, rule of thumb is that you're gonna think that the CEO knows more than the talent about what contents generates more revenue. Some talents think they know what the audience wants, but they really don't, because they're not paid to watch analytics, they just jiggle the keys.
And as the company grows and there are more shareholders and people with vested interest in increasing revenue, things are gonna change.
I'm sure more talents will leave because they don't want to be forced into meaningless events or pushing out cookie cutter content for a paycheck (hurting their "artistic freedom"), and would rather just have a chill stream playing games and having fun while doing idol-like activities as something special (or they want to outright drop that). It isn't rocket science.
