The top vtubers have very recognizable characters.
Pekora, Fuwamoco, Marine and Fubuki act in ways that you'd recognize even if you swapped voices and characters.
They may not be "roleplaying" a specific person, per se, but you notice that they put conscious effort in their speech patterns and theme.

It's usually non-Hololive members who fall into the pitfall of never developing a character and just streaming as is.
