Here's the issue - she can do whatever the fuck she wants in Hololive. She can just not stream for a year if she feels like it (and yes, she can collab, or not, with homos as much as she wants as well).
It all comes down to two things. One: What can she do outside of Holo that she can't do inside because management won't have it (but they could allow if they so chose, since it is a "disagreement")? While at the same time being something management would be so stubborn about as to prefer losing Aqua?
And two: She stated that she had been worrying about this for years, and that she doesn't want to go on lying (in her announcement stream and in relation to her graduation).
That really doesn't leave many options, does it? IMO she wants to publicly announce her marriage, but we'll see.
