>>82555603It's still amusing how the GRIM era of Hololive with Council debut being not as smooth as it could have been, it did briefly allow Anycolor to show themselves as the "fun" company. It wasn't difficult to see that attitude was more due to lack of professionalism and any sense of structure, but I was a dummy, I fell for them being the "fun" company for about a month. It fell apart because when it involves saying funny poopoopeepee words and talking about dicks and lewd material nonstop that I realized there's no substance with 95%+ of EN, far more higher higher percentage since Pomu and Selen left.
But extending your point, JP work ethic isn't the only major issue, but JP autism in general, whether it be for perms, what ideas get passed, following along to schedules to the second, list goes on. Rigidity truly can stifle creativity.
It may be a slightly unpopular opinion, but I stand by control not being a bad thing, it's overreach by higher-ups that's the problem. It needs to be a balance, too much freedom can lead to poopoopeepee humor, but overreach leads to so much sanitization that it loses character. I'll stand by Coco being important for pushing for things that would lead to the EN branch creation. At the same time, you can't convince me her type of humor four years ago being done now is something that'll work. It's not only JP side doesn't want that anymore, but for better or worse, the audience has changed in those years.
