They post on public social media
they communicate over glowie communications that may as well be public
all of their social interactions happen in public chatrooms
they're constantly told they're monitored all of the time.
And to make things worse: they grew up this way so they don't know there is any other way to live.
Add all this together and you get the ultimate problem: zoomers weren't pounded the concept of private and public into their heads from an early age. So they genuinely don't understand. To them, that apex lobby is just as private as talking about something face to face in school, with all the spying and eavesdropping that happens with that. It was one in a million that the third wheel in his lobby was a streamer who had a large following.
