It is because it points into doubt the "good times" that were had when they were at the company, and because its making the remaining portion of fans feel guilty for wasting their time and money supporting the company that their oshi hates working in.
That said, I don't care about or believe the ex-Nijis that pity bait the most. That's not to downplay their stories because if even 50% of it is true, it's still fucked up. But even before shit went down around 2023-2024 it was a known fact that Anycolor sucked as a company; they closed down Niji India before NijiEN debuted
though that was more justifiable because NijiIN IIRC was said here to have a physical location in New Delhi or something, closing down an underperforming physical location is sadly the nature of business, they lost some big KRs like Yuya and Bora extremely early in EN's lifespan and inevitably absorbed/dissolved KR, they dissolved/absorbed ID shortly after and treated them poorly while also shuttering Yumenografia, the way they prioritized Luxiem in 2022 while downplaying Lazulight/Obsydia anniversaries, the public debacles alone that showed that they sucked and not just the private ones.
Whenever some ex-Nijis consistently pitybait, a year or even months after they left the company, it just appears to be done for desperation because they can't really maintain a stable fanbase/viewership on their own and need a quick adrenaline shot to stay relevant. Or because some of them also want to downplay their involvement and ride the victim train despite making out of there like bandits and occasionally contributing to the destruction of the brand as well. There's just a huge difference between people like them, and people like Mint and Doki who despite some traumatic experiences, came out of it fine and don't need to pander to dramafags to have a diehard fanbase.
>>82610578The only reason I dislike Coco now is because she
got an Analogue Pocket like Yoko Taro did. Those devices are pretty overpriced for what you pay for and the business models that company likes to do are very shitty. They love to severely underproduce the regular models making them difficult to get, while introducing "limited edition" models at a small to severe price hike.
