If that kind of thing is as proven as you think, vtubers like grimmi, girlsfc members, and other prominent artists wouldn't have applied. There are vtubers who disagree and think they have a chance.
The funny thing with Rin is that regardless of what she thinks she couldn't apply to their auditions anyway, not with the 1 year revenue contract that she is bound to. Even without that the auditions have already closed and she's graduating only in November. Wouldn't have made it either way.
