>>82661044>>and some people expect a return on that support in the form of a streamer doing something for the audience.>incorrect??? It's literally, factually, correct. Some people do expect a return on that $5, and some people have dropped her because she didn't provide anything of worth for months on end.
>nor did anyone at pretty much any point in time expect a ton of them.Correct. The typical number of member streams is about 1 a month, maybe 2, from other Holomems I watch. Gura does 1 every 2 months, from what I understand, thought I'm not a member anymore so I wouldn't know. Thing is, everyone immediately goes to the cope that members streams aren't supposed to happen often, or that you get emotes so be satisfied, but you keep missing the point. The membership perks are fine, of course, but streaming regular streams regularly is plenty reason to remain a member. That "anything of worth" I mentioned earlier can simply be just normal streams. Other Holomems may not do members stuff but they at least stream, Gura doesn't, that's the crux of the issue.
>also why is it a bad thing she's milking her fans for money? chumbuds, especially ones still around, are the most retarded fanbase out thereIt's not necessarily but per se, it's her job, and they happy to be milked. The problem is, if you keep milking them while giving nearly nothing in return, eventually the least retarded fans will start to feel exploited, will complain, and then leave. Ignoring moral issues, this is loss of potential revenue.
If Gura streamed literally once a week for 2 hours consistently, everything would be resolved, but she can't even bring herself to do that much.
