>>82888649>>82889037To glean any useful information from the catalogue you'd need to stalk it for hours to find interesting threads, then spend the time reading all the replies, then repeat for the whole day every day of the week to stay informed. This would require multiple hours per day, unless you're promoting not even threadreading but titlereading, since people don't have the time to read all the threads on here so reading just the title would save time. Or you can watch someone summarise the happenings of a few days within like 30mins.
>but just visit the board when you have free timeThen you'll inevitably miss some news, and half the time you ask others about it they'll just tell you to do reps, as if you have a ton of free time to spend on sifting through weaved Mongolian baskets.
>but the dramatubers are feeding you rratsIf you have a modicum of critical thinking, you'll listen to what they say, try to analyse it yourself and, depending on how much time you have or what evidence they present, you can either believe it, not believe it, or put your opinion on hold while you do personal research.
I don't watch dramatubers, except for a couple of times during the Niji fiasko to see how they were presenting things. I have enough time so I get all the info I need from this board and Xwitter.but I know a lot of people can't/don't do that and seek alternatives. You're literally arguing against conventional TV news. Yes, the things presented on the news can (most of the time) be found and verified independently by each viewer, but most people don't have the time or energy to do all the necessary researching so they rely on those programs. These youtubers are no different, in theory, though it depends on how much false/unverified things they insert into their news (which is again not so different from real news/journalistic sources).
