The yen is still pretty weak so hotels are like $40-60 a night, and food and travel is cheap there too. Totally worth it to go for 6-7 days at least.
I'm setting aside money from now until then, I already have plane tickets purchased and have another $1k saved to splurge on buying items and souvenirs.
