https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugkx5oOdZe3y-UpZzxiWBGmR1gCe_KA8YrXE>HexJuiceI have privated the video regarding BungoTaiga's ban. The reason is that I was clearly incorrect that the ban was due specifically to the second channel.
The ACTUAL reason that Taiga was banned was due to three strikes on Taiga's channel due to Nudity and Sexual Content, per Youtube's Guidelines, according to Taiga himself.
I apologize for the assumption I made about the second channel. It was a dot I connected due to my ignorance of the third strike, when I saw that Taiga's channel was removed 12 hours after posting on that second channel. That was a mistake on my part, and I will work hard in the future not to make mistakes in my summary of a situation again.
Thanks to those who held me accountable. My intention was not to spread misinformation, and I did so. I have regret regarding how I conducted myself, in terms of not 100% verifying the specific reason for the ban. I apologize to Taiga for not verifying that information 100% before posting. If I ever do similar content again, I will keep what I have learned here in mind.
That being said, Taiga was still banned due to Community Guidelines violations. NOT because of a "targeted harassment campaign," per the GoFundMe made on Taiga's behalf, along with many, many clips from Taiga himself.
I believe that the reports from stalkers/haters probably did put a magnifying glass on Taiga's channel.
HOWEVER, I do not believe that his channel would've received strikes or been banned if there was not content that Youtube deemed to have violated TOS. Appeals were made regarding the strikes and the ban, and they were denied. Taiga himself has said that he skirts the guidelines and pushes boundaries. Ultimately, it is Youtube's decision whether the line was toed or crossed. Additionally, Taiga's second channel WAS banned for ban evasion, according to his own words on Twitter. TOS was broken on multiple occasions by Taiga.
My point has always been that the reasoning behind the ban was misrepresented (particularly on the GoFundMe, but additionally in clips and videos posted by fan channels). I still believe that to be true, even though I was incorrect in the specific TOS violation that got Taiga banned.
Do other channels get away with similar content? Yes. I think they should also receive punishment for that content. Youtube has ALWAYS been notorious for uneven enforcement of their TOS. That doesn't mean that Taiga's ban was invalid or unfair.
Also, if you're wondering why I'm posting this here, my Twitter was restricted due to reports and the links on the webpage are broken, meaning I can't do anything about it. Like I said in my video, it's pretty easy to affect a Twitter account due to mass reports. Not so much on Youtube. Which was my point.
To sum it up, if Taiga would like to talk it out, I'm willing to do so. Unfortunately I cannot do so on Twitter, for obvious reasons. The reality is that I empathize deeply with everything he's been through (I've dealt with a lot of similar things), I just also think that accountability for our own mistakes is important. I apologize for my inaccuracy, though the core of my message is the same. I will be better in the future.
