I'd more look at the twitter follows than subs. As we can see from HoloJP the twitter follows are usually like 70-80%ish of the YT subs and Hakos for example at 181k? If YT wasn't coming and fucking decimating the subs every hour probably would have been 200+ along with Mumei, and the others not too far behind. Even Sana likely would be 150+.

While mostly true, I do think debuting Iryus before Gen2 was a really bad move. People were waiting for new members for a long time and it really brouht ton of attention on her, but she's simply a nice singer with a bad model, and then Gen2 comes right after and I feel with less hype because of that
