Phase is letting Mint join in because she's Pippa sized and Phase's viewership itself isn't as large as people think. Pippa is 2k and Tenma is mid 1k. They're using her to boost their event, and probably trying to recruit her.
Mint can hop from corpo to corpo doing this, but eventually the corpos will grow large enough to do it by themselves and it will be known in the industry that she has no plans to join any of them. When that happens these corpos will drop her and focus on growing their own talents to compete against her instead.
Indie life isn't as easy as the average brainless anons here think it is. It's difficult to sustain your mind share and compete against larger groups when you have no box content.

Indies have difficulties competing against box/group content and that's the reason vtubers join groups, and also why leaving isn't a consideration for most of the Holomems. Indies will only hit a cap, stagnate and go on a slow decline without a group to associate with. Shylily is literally the best example. She's on a massive decline with most of her streams averaging 4k when she used to be 7-8k, because Mythic has no collaborative element to it.
Mint would eventually have to join some groups or risk getting outcompeted by the rising mid sized corpos.
