>>83369301>for westernerIt's a stylized "hack and slash" actions game with staff instead of "swords/blade" similar with OG GOW for zoomer or Onimusha/Sengoku Basara for the millenials and Yes it's have nothing to do with "Souls" game. the difficulties is just "subjective" it can be hard for anyone that not conditioned by From Software but it will be medium to easy difficulties for someone used to Form Software products.
The main premise of this game that you doing the PVE based on story line, fighting NPC/Bosses using various skills/tools at your disposals while tinkering with quite wide variables of stats and skills/magic to obtains In-Game objects which also granted you various unlock able in Game lore that presented to you by poetic styles and theatrical "visuals".
The Gameplays(Fighting) is straight forward goes from "save point" to the boss location or goes "distracted" to any point that "interest you" first or at least trying to get "distracted".
The "Fighting" aspect itself will be skills/spells/magic driven gameplays about how to use it, when to use it since it will be way more easier to beat the game instead of "Souls" game dodging-parry-rolling-blocking-counter-timing-frame calc usual strats so most will call this game a Hard Mid/Meh. but anyone can challenge themselves to only use dodging-counter-martial arts and no spells/skills/magic totry beat the game.
It will be seen as "boring" and "cartonish/anime-ish" by those that unfamiliar(borderline don't care) about the concept of this game based on which is what the Internet called "Bullshido", where in this game setting Magic, Sorcery, curses, gods, demi-gods, demi-humans, human, subhumans, deities, demons, spirits, fairies, ghosts, earthbound spirits, superstitions, Daoism, Buddhism is as real and as common as things that you'll find in everyday life even if you never step out of your rooms.
It's basically if someone from the Ancient era having Chuunibyo phase contemplating about Life-Birth-Death-Universe while smocking pot and hallucinating. which is sometimes quite incomprehensible to someone that used to video games entertainment about Big jacked Bearded Viking dudes double wielding Great Swords storming through big giant monsters.
>for easternerit's childhood nostalgia for Millenials that have watched the Old TV Shows(1986) and some perhaps watched the Hong Kong versions in the 2002.
for most zoomer perhaps this is the "First AAA" games made by Chinese company that directly challenge Single Player Action games that mostly think that this is "Souls" game Made In China which is false perceptions the same as how most Westerner think. the facts that Sun Wukong and Journey to the West is vastly adapted into many Japanese derivative works isn't really the reasons why someone from Japan or South Korea will play the game, it's mostly just because the Hype.
