>>83519367holofans did watch coco at the start, they supported her because she was indie, her downfall was joining vshojo because that company doesn't resonate with her primary viewers (JP) at the time, people didn't want to join another corpo, they wanted to support her as an idol, she changed all of that and people just left, they where not the audience she was pandering to anymore and what did not help is that she alternates vtubing with irl streams, her core fanbase was made in vtubing, if she changes a lot that is another hit to another part of the fanbase, but im glad she is still doing well and seems more happy., and maybe if she didn't do those things she wouldn't have the yakuza roles in their games or the abilities to shill herself with vtuber style merchandise.
