I got beef with Vivi because she's desperately trying to pull attention to herself. She will pick up niche titles to clickbait people into her streams, play poorly for about 90~120 minutes (in the way that she will act like she doesn't understand the plot that was explained in a cutscene she talked over), and then zatsu for the rest of her stream time.
I'm not gonna pretend I know what her damage is, but she's a bad entertainer, she's got no gaming skills worth talking about, and her shills are delusional yes-men that could only get love by paying for it. Her entire brand, apparently even pre-Niji, was "haha I'm a girl that happens to be into your favorite niche titles, boys. Please come watch me," and if there was ANYTHING that needs to be gatekept against, it's exactly that.
Women in nerd hobbies are fine.
Women pretending to be in nerd hobbies to get attention are not fine.
Know the difference. It could save your hobby.
