I would be sad if she were to officially quit, but I would not be devastated.
The real downfall was when they decided to pause EN3 to focus on StarsEN. It doesn't make sense to expand to new markets even if potentially profitable at the cost of your core market that is proven to have more than 10x the return. It would be like if Google decided to neglect the Ads business to focus on making their TPUs. Imagine if Cover focuses on releasing new ID gens with no new EN gens in sight.
The drought has definitely cost Hololive some good potential hires that have gone to other companies/ allowed indies to grow large enough to not need corpos. This eroded their viewership marketshare and strengthened competition.
I for one have already moved on to enjoy the pletora of indies and small corpos that now exist. I rarely watch HoloJP these days.
It would make sense to doompost when new gens are gratuating before their senpais. It would mean the company does not have the capacity to support growth anymore. Take a look at Kawaii lol.8nht
