>>84002634this is a bit of a disingenuous question, as I've collabed with many /asp/ streamers, what you're really asking is "why haven't you collabed with ME", which is a harder question to answer. have you asked? have you pitched a collab?
when you're a more established streamer with a bigger audience, your viewers expectations grow with your reputation. when I stream, I intend it to be an entertaining show for my audience, and by inviting someone on to my stream, I'm saying "I support this person and think they will be entertaining to my viewers".
there are generally 3 different things that can inspire a collab:
>is this a good friend that I know I can banter with?this is the backbone of my filler streams, like the people I pull on during a big event to chat for a bit, or pull in during mahjong streams, or call in spontaneously during stream. It's people that my chat doesn't have to know, because I know due to talking to them a lot that we have a good back-and-forth/stream presence that will be entertaining to watch (hopefully)
>does this person have a cool skill or gimmick that my viewers would enjoy?if you're in a relevant field of interest and have a cool skill or gimmick or idea + have proven to have a solid stream presence, this is a fun basis for a collab. When *I* get invited to collab with people I haven't really talked to, this is generally the reason. I've got a few people that I've found that I'm planning on having on stream that fit this role as well
>is this person a known character that would have entertaining interactions for the audience?this fits a lot of collabs with bigger streamers, but also people who are "chat" famous/infamous for antics. It's interesting to collab with someone that is well known by my viewers, because the interactions between us are fun to watch. This could be a big streamer that a lot of my viewers watch, or just a person who is well known by chat. One of the /asp/ streamers I raided ended up being LOVED by my chat after that raid and became someone who got talked about a lot, which is part of what inspired me to invite them on eventually. This is something that is way more up to the whims of chat as a whole than *you* as a streamer.
basically i'm not going to go out of my way to invite someone on unless they fit one of these criteria, because the entire point of streams is to make entertaining content, and I feel like most people outside of these brackets are not a good fit for making entertaining content for my audience. You can feel free to ask me yourself, and pitch an idea, but I expect you to have put some thought into what it is that you want to collab with *me* specifically for.

>>84004260 is incredibly correct. You can slip a counterfeit bill past a dad at a yard sale, but you can't get away with depositing it at a bank. Bigger streamers know that you get a boost from interacting with them, you aren't being sly, and they know that even if you ARE genuine the size difference in viewership is going to be an element in your mind. If you're being genuine, pitch what you can provide to their stream instead of just asking to come on for indescript or vague reasons. Give them an actual reason that you want to collab with *them* that isn't just "well you're the one person with clout that I thought I'd have a chance at getting in with". They know the game, they won't be mad at you for playing it, only if they think that's the ONLY thing you're after them for.
There's also a lot of common pitfalls smaller streamers fall in to when reaching out to bigger creators for collabs, but i've prattled on enough so I can go through these in another post if you're interested.
Hopefully this answers your question well, good luck brother!
