One time I did think it worked out well was when the big Joi ad was talking to K. The echo of her words actually presented the themes of the movie pretty well, specially so since it was coming from K's lowest moment, and those words, were what led him to say fuck it and fuck you to everyone and deciding to save Harrison Ford so he could be with his daughter.
