>>84211334Some freaky ass monsters called Stains showed up and caused problems for this kingdom. This has happened before, and last time some heroes used some magic power called Revelation to defeat the monsters. But once that power fulfilled its purpose the heroes couldn't use it any more. But that was fine, since the monsters were gone.
But after enough time passed for that story to become a legend, the Stains came back. So, the current king uses a ritual to summon a group of 19 adventurers from another realm who are destined to become the next generation of heroes, and they manifest wearing the capes that denote their role as heroes. Problematically, the summoned heroes are disoriented from the summoning and lose all their memories except for their names.
Immediately after their summoning, the city gates are attacked by another wave of Stains, including an illusive and powerful Stain King. The adventurers go to help, but without their memories they struggle to fight effectively against the waves of enemies and the King. In a desperate stroke of luck, the heroes are able to summon the power of Revelation and manifest their supernatural powers, striking down the Stain King.
So now the adventurers have joined one of the 4 local guilds and are taking quests and adventuring to gather strength to combat the Stain threat.
