It's perfectly possible that Quinn's involvement in Zaion's drama started and ended with him being an asshole. The only person who seems to have a problem with him is Sayu herself, after all.
Does that mean that everyone is bad and Sayu is good? Does it mean that Sayu is the bad one? No, it only means that human relationships are weird and complex.
