>not for >me but it was inevitable that cover tried going for holostars en, but it should be fine because SURELY they will follow the steps of their jp holostars senpais and not be a problemOutsiders started shitting on them before debut early and a bunch of people defended them by referring to jp holostars and then they debuted
Some people (mostly unityfags) gave them a shake at the start (hence the giga buffed debut period) but once the preferential treatment they were getting started being apparent (paid songs and shit, shortened collab ban, game perms, twitter interactions, etc) and the hololive en branch started being neglected (NO fucking debuts for some fucking retarded reason, all the girls burning out, them clearly pushing the boys on every single opportunity including locking out the reddit on ames birthday because of some irrelevant shit about the homos) everyone started going from very-slight-positive-neutral opinion (aka idc what they are, i won't watch and they'll just stick in their corner anyway) to actual hatred (they are hurting the girls and shitting on the whole community just to try propping up these failures)
And then the homos kept fucking up, acting like victims when they were being given so much more than the girls, and purposely being antagonistic to entire fanbases for the "bit" (hate marketing sounds familiar to anyone? vesper did it first)
TLDR: Sort of met with an initial "not going to watch but i don't care about homostars, they've been well behaved so far so they're not going to interact with the girls anyway and cover knows what pays the bills" to "WHAT THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING ARE THEY RETARDED????? WE NEED TO TELL COVER TO STOP THIS SHIT RIGHT NOW"
