>>84461955Be you a sister or not, I do agree with that she indeed doesn't care, she's plenty happy doing her own things as she wants to do it, but honestly, that's part of the "problem" in itself which ends up feeding on itself too.
As much as I enjoy her, it does hurt just a little that she's dead last on people's eyes. And it's not like she's like, I don't know, Mori, who's reached a level where the truly important things for her and her career are all outside streaming, where streaming has become secondary for her.
I really do wish she put more effort in stabilizing things for herself. That she found a balance or something. I don't know.
>>84462423You just don't get it it's THE Gura so anything with Gura on it automates to "kino".
Honestly, I'm started to become slightly resentful. The same things people criticize Shiori so much for, that she's a sperg, that she's an autist, that she hates crowds, that she just fucks off to do her own thing, lol typical Shiori ignoring people and being a loner, etc, when Gura does them people just go "awww, poor widdle Gura is just shy, awww how endearing, please just give her space, touch her with care she's a crystal bwaby, please be patient with the widdle shark.
Hate to say it, but it truly shows how numbers/or becoming "brand" matter. People will give you a pass just for existing.
Double standards are awful to see.
>>84462621Haachama is 1st gen, and she's also a JP. Those thing alone give them tremendous privilege late comers, much less the EN ones, do not have.
She's long established herself as a household name for Hololive and when you reach that level after a storied and established career numbers don't matter that much anymore, Getting your face slapped on merch or collabs with companies or whatever and people recognizing it from sheer cultural osmosis does. Hell, that's exactly what FWMC have been working so hard and been so focused on doing when you get to it. On becoming "brand" or "mascot" or whatever you wanna call it.
Like you just said, chammers is generally well known and beloved by the people. I cannot say the same for Shiori, there's some really hardcore Shiorifags out there for sure, undeniable, but on a "general" sense of things? To most people she's just kinda there. One of the reasons why I enjoyed seeing so many clips and posting and stuff all over over the Telenovella yesterday. It felt like people "saw her" at long last. Same with her being in Hologra for that matter. Or how when everywhere you went people had nothing but good things to said about Shiori at BD.
I genuinely do get concerned sometimes, I usually don't mind but once in a while I become overcome with worry. I really wish this topic could be discussed properly without being instantly regarded as a "sister" or being told to "just go watch someone else if you don't like Shiori then". Not like there's anything one could possibly do but sometimes one just wants to express oneself and let it out.
