It's not a mistake because it's natural for big companies to invest in oversea branch

But their numbers aren't that impressive (for now) and they still need to catch up with Phase numbers first

tl;dr the branch isn't an instant success, but Brave group is crazy rich anyway so they can afford that, and in return, they can brag the investors that they have oversea branch

That's where you're wrong. Shitposting can ruin corpos because eventually they'll hire someone who can't ignore all the shitposting and starts fighting her antis which will just attract more shitposters and antis.
VSPOEN (and Brave's other overseas branches) are allowed to exist because they're not the biggest enemy at the moment.

But yes, they are great. It says a lot when they got adopted by Brave's GFE branch's general and weren't rejected or anti'd to any significant degree when VSPO isn't known for being friendly to that audience.

They own an eCommerce platform that is "The largest online store for official Japanese goods". They also get venture capitalism money for their metaverse and web3 stuff operations. None of it sounds particularly profitable for the moment, but probably we'll see them start to cut the chaff once the free money runs out.

I'm not sure. I've watched Remia a few times but there's only 2 types of content a CS player can make: play CS and be toxic, or play Valorant and be toxic while hating on Valorant. Their whole schtick is playing shootbangs so I have no interest in watching Remia play Cooking Simulator or whatever. Model is sexo but the content is trite. So far I think they did a good job in hiring cute girls who are decent at gaming and have great voices. I give a thumbs up to their talent acquisition department. The EN side of vtubing has been pretty volatile as of late so it's difficult to predict what will happen in the future. We just have to wait and see.
