>>84497820>>84494325>>84494359This is a long and stupid rant so for now, call me debunkronie. I'm a politician so you know I ain't lying.
This is just a supplementary of my statement regarding why BiliBili and pals wants Hololive back.
Also.
I shall now disprove points in this statement here:
>>84476761>70% income is just donationsThis has not been true for months, perhaps the CN dude tried to back up this claim using the pre-HoloCN closure numbers which were closer to his claim if not factual back then.
Remember something really important, saving face is the most important thing in Chinese business so this could be a sort of narrative being pushed by the individual who wrote this in order to give "extra weight" to the donations forwarded by the Chinese fanbase to COVER during the recent BiliBIli streams, as it would mean that the Chinese money is considerably more influential than it really is to current operations. All money is important nonetheless as the company for a while was entirely reliant on the revenue from YouTube but in the statement posted by the individual (Chinese), he's using the money as a sort of hidden narrative to highlight Chinese influence over Hololive as a business. It's a commot tactic used by Chinese users and business to then highlight later on in-retrospective how they have always been pivotal for whatever business. It starts with innocent lies. It one day becomes the irrefutable backbone of their arguments. Me refuting this argument right here as disproven any attempt to use it as an inquestionable narrative in the future. but any anon would have been able, is able, to do the same by just replying with "Fake and Gay" or anything else really as, in simple words. Statement 1. Is. Bullshit.
>COVER not being serious about the Chinese marketThis could, interestingly enough, be a full-blown rrat. It's clear that COVER wants to enter the CN market again, but realistically speaking, they don't know how, not just because of their abrupt exit a few years back, but because of the risks and restrictions imposed by operating in the CN market and how these have been enclosing the VTuber scene in China in a draconic way (unsurprising) to the point that they have a form of "state-mandated doxxing" (no anonimity in the CN networks).
Returning to this market poses a ton of money but restrictions that as far as we are aware of, COVER doesn't seem too keen on (yet), but I won't be surprised if they attempt to re-enter, what however, might not happen is HoloCN rebirth or something, because again, state mandated doxxing for CN nationals. I wish I was joking.
>Traditional Chinese marketThese encompass Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan (he said the word), unsuprising that an expansion in Taiwan is happening, surprised on them trying to expand business on both Macau and HK as both are legally handled by the CN gov. But might be the correct way to handle business for now near China but not fully in-China as the restrictions and concessions get tighter the closer you are to the actual mainland.
>On graduation...This is a projection AND deflection.
The individual says he doesn't like when companies do things behind the scenes.
He's all in for Chinese companies who hide more skeletons in their closet than centuries old graveyards
He says the company doesn't have a good attitude towards China, but he doesn't acknowledge the elephant in his room that is why COVER is wary of China.
As I did once, as I say now again , these statements have been carefully curated, notice the writing, it's entirely biased so you get 3 basic ideas from this.
>1. COVER needs to enter China because they can't solely rely on donations and merch sales from non-Chinese.Again, disproven by the current state of affairs. The only thing that re-entering China head-on will do is giving the Chinese leverage to push their narratives. Which despite looking more logical, everyone knows are considerably more batshit insane than your average schizopost here as they aim for total control over the IPs themselves and not the sake of it.
2. It's dissapointing (this is a soft way of saying disrespecting China btw).
This IS being used in the discourse to generate a sentiment of support for the Chinese market who currently is really deprived of Hololive content (not exactly if you know that they still clip things and TL em, like anons do anyways), this puts the Chinese in a defensive position against COVER which refuses to go back, again, remember, they have managed, with just a few words, to create a shift in their narrative of support for their market despite us knowing why COVER is reluctant to just go back in again. And they know it too.
3. Expansion to Traditional Chinese Market.
This one depends solely on bets, and I can bet this is just a way for COVER to say "Expansion to Taiwan" without saying Taiwan for reasons.
I rest my case.
The OP of that post is a serial liar and I can confidently say i have BTFO him.
