I know–regardless of your individual allegiances–I love that you all look at these things objectively, and you provide a service to the fans of NijiEN. We owe you a debt of gratitude.
I've been a diehard NijiEN fan for nearly 4 years. I say that with the very express intent of sharing my deep and undying love for these talents, and my thread is rooted in heartbreak, not anger. Don't get me wrong, I'm angry. But it is a byproduct of a dysfunctional abusive relationship with the management and the ownership of Nijisanji EN. I also want to say I have defended this company. I liked what the corpo did with the new hires. I defended Ethyria and Luxiem. I didn't understand the Noctyx hires, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I forgave the talents they let go. I was BEFUDDLED by the Iluna and Xsoleil debuts, but you know what? I said, "I'm going to give them one last shot." And when they canceled the AR live–like the cowards they are–I knew something was up. But now we know.
Obviously, the experiment is over. The vast majority of the debuts have been busts. The product on air is pathetic. We have exactly two streamers of excellence on this roster, Petra Gurin and Rosemi Lovelock. Everyone else is nowhere near the kind of streamer they need to be to make this a winning corpo. You'd think that would be enough to wake this organization up, but yesterday Riku Tazumi had the gall to say that he's not in a good place right now, and accountability is not an issue. You're right, he's not in a good place. He's not in a job he should have. Think about all the promises that Finana made. "All girls collab." She bragged about Luxnoc's numbers in the Petra leak, and "they earn just as much as their successful JP livers." Think about the things that Fulgur said, "they didn't do as good as they expected." He must've been talking about his corpo, not Hololive!

Tens of millions of dollars on replacement level streamers, while stars go elsewhere. Anycolor stock is down nearly 50% since February. Upd8 needed 3 years to torpedo its public reputation, we needed 3 months. In the 2 years following Luxnoc's debuts, we have been a constant experiment that has never panned out. In the 3 years of NijiEN's existence, we had exactly one period of excellence with a perfect storm of talents that has not once come even close to being the same. I don't want to hear about the Gura overlaps. With the money we've spent, the livers we have, getting 1k CCV should be underachieving, not several hundred below 1k!
