For me watching vtuber content feels similar to just watching regular anime: I'm watching a fictional character do a performance.
've never felt like I was on a date with the chuuba or like I had any kind of direct person connection with the chuuba, nor did I have any desire to feel that way. Watching a fictional character do fun things is enough for me.
I know that there's a real person behind the avatar, but they have about as much of a connection to the rigged drawing on screen as a VA does in a for-television animation, so ultimately who they are or what they do in their off time doesn't matter to me. Because I know she's a separate entity from the character.
Why is GFE so important to you guys?
